Question:
This blocks everyone behind them from making a right turn on red. Should these people be ticketed for "DWS" (Driving While Stupid) or should a law be passed that allows fellow motorists to beat these people with sticks? I vote for the latter...
Answers:
We can only wish.
How long does it take to drive 90 miles?
To begin with it is not an open rule that you can turn right on red. Actrually it is the opposite. Most plaxes do not allow this. It is too dangerous to the pedestrians wlking on green. One should only turn on red when it is clearly marked that you can do so. And if there are lights then shere will be a light that will indcate you can turn.
Do you know if I can write off the mileage for taking my son back and forth to daycare?
just because people think something is does not mean it is true.
When turning left on at an interesection without a signal on a divided highway ...?
Unless the lane is marked for right turn only, they have as much right to be in that lane as anyone making a right turn does. If it bothers you that much start sending your complaints to the areas DOT, not that they would do anything about it but at least you would be complaining to the right people.Annoys u most about nyc subways?
The problem is the cities that refuse to paint right turn only lanes on the streets. Imagine how much a simple thing like this could do to speed up traffic if there is enough room for it. Most places where there's heavy traffic, there is room. The alternative is for everyone to move to the left lane when approaching an intersection unless they're turning right. This is not practical, and very dangerous, and would result in endless traffic jams as people tried to change lanes to the left to accommodate the few people who need to turn right. The people who should be beaten with sticks are not the drivers, but the traffic "engineers".More Questions & Answers ...
