If the car was parked in a paid for car park with some form of monitoring you MIGHT have a claim against the operators of the car park. They usually try to exclude liability, but if you could show that they were aware of what was going on (cctv records?) and chose to do nothing you might get something. Otherwise that's what we have comp insurance for isn't it
