Michigan drivers licens??

Most of the time if you are purchasing a car from a car dealership, they will not register the car strictly in the 17 year old name. The reason is that the 17 year old, is not of the legal age of 18. If it would get registered, in the 17 year old name, and there is a problem the car dealership would have to take the vehicle back no questions asked. So, because of that, most of the dealership will not register to an under age person. You would have to check with the dealership and see if they allow it.
