Can I be forced to accept a settlement offer for my totaled car if I feel it is an unfair offer?
Yes you can. NJDMV will issue you a title and registration even if you do not have a valid drivers license. The will just issue you an ID number. Even if your license is suspended, they can title and register the car. You just can't drive it. Insurance companies, may give you a problem. But the state won't.If I put $500.00 down on a car, I have bad credit.... how much would my payments be a month?
Sure. Just don't drive it without one. My mother-in-law never had a license, but kept a car so her sons could drive her around in her car.Lapse in auto insurance? Bad thing?
why yes u canI think the laws are about the same in all states. In order to register a vehicle you must have a valid drivers licence or a valid state ID.
