Car insurance payment due date?

Question:
We ran into some money problems, my husband got hurt and was out of work for about a week so we will not be able to pay our car unsurance payment on time. It's not due for another week but is there anyway i can change the due date for later in the month because all our bills are due in the same week and it's a little overwhelming thanx.
