Want to get a new vehicle and transfer the tag from my old vehicle (different states)...can i do this???

my truck is registered in one state and i'm living in another (military). want to trade my truck in for something different but want to keep my legal resident state tags. do you think i can do that if i contact the people back home and give them the new vehicles info?

You would need to title/register you truck in your home state, I don't believe you can do that by phone, since the truck would need a state patrol inspection before it could be titled. You are allowed being military to keep your home address.
