okay im 22 years old and i have been riding the bus all my life. And i want to get my drivers license i have restricted licenses. And i took the drivers test about a year ago and failed because i didnt make complete stops at the stop signs. I drive a little bit but i catch the bus most of the time and i know the basics of driving and ive watched people drive all my life and i have learn like that how to drive but why im i so nervous and scared to take my test and i know what to expect on the test but im still so nervous and what can i do to stay calm on my test.

My suggestion is for you to go to your nearest student driving centre and take a couple of additional lessons for two reasons.
1. to fix your problem, and make you a safe driver.
2. since you dont drive often, you need a refresher course.

all you need is more confidence and a little practice.practice for atleast 4 hrs before you give the test and definitely you will pass
you have to sign something that claims you have had at least 20 hours of driving (at least in NY you do) If you have had that much you should be used to it enough that you can pass. Being nervous is not good because that's when you will make mistakes. Get out there and practice more until you are sure of your self. It would be awful if you passed and than got in an accident after you got your license because you were not good enough yet.
