Question:
My DL is suspended, and my driving record indicates that I need sr-22 , but does not specify a period of time. What insurance company will insure me with out having a vehicle?
Answers:
If bumper stickers are true and your car is unmanned in the Rapture, can I have it?
it is called a non owners sr22 filing and an agent can give it to you. It is limited coverage. It will not cover you if you are driving a vehicle that you own, or a vehicle in your household, or in the course of employment. ( pretty limited coverage) but it will met the dmv requirements for your sr-22The insurance goes with the vehicle, so you are right, nobody will. Your letter informing you of your suspension should have the length of time on it.
Please describe the process of getting a non-drivers license at the DMV?
most will insure you its a like a bond type of insurance its very expensive and they report to the state if you drop itLost provisional driver's license?
An SR22 has to be maintained for a period of 3 consecutive years. It is a policy on you the driver, not any specific vehicle. You'd be surprised to find how many companies will gladly take your money for one. Just remember that you cannot let it lapse, or you will have to start all over again. Also shop around for a fair price. Some companies can be shady about reporting in a timely manner to the DMV. also remember that this is not related to regular car insurance, so you can't drop it. Also just an FYI, you can get insurance without having a car, it's called an operators policy. (BUt again that is totally different)More Questions & Answers ...
