Question:
there was a lein on our van, husband couldn't pay.company never repo the van. The charged it off on his credit report. Can he sell the van without the title? And don't they have to send him the title since they charged it off on him.I'm sure they claimed it on their insurance to get remainder $500 due on the van.I live in the state of Georgia and we don't want the van anymore and the company its financed to won't pick it up, even when he tried 4 times to do a self repo.It runs great but we got a new van.

Why are U.K. number plates white in front, yellow at rear?

NO! dont sell it without a title, the new owner may use it for a crime (drive by, rob a bank or God knows what else), get in an accident that disables or kills someone, and guess who is held responsible? YOU.

My 98 Chev. Cavalier was totaled. How do I know if I'm getting a fair price from the insurance co.? Am I?

Go to your tax office get a lost title paper, fill it out and turn it in so they can send you a new title. Then sell the van.
