Someone hit my friends car, ( without any of the req. paperwork ) and they tried 2 leave, what happens now?

someone hit my friends car going 50 on a residental street. she was pulling out of the driveway and the other guy was yelling at someone out the window. he t-boned her and tried 2 drive away, he couldn't and then she found out that he has no drivers licence, no insurance, ( no assets either.. ) and the car was not registered in his name.. she called the police and filled the paperwork, but if he cant pay.. what happens?

If u get in an accident w/ a lease, and ur ins, company is taking care of it, do u tell the dealership?

they probably have a court date. tell her to show up and press charges, they will loose their licenses and the judge will also determine the charge, and the punishment for it. but if she doesn't show they probably will just throw it out as a no show, and they won't have to pay anything. good luck.
