Claims adjuster on uninspected vehicle?

Question:
i was recently in a car accident. i got hit from behind at a red light. the police report states that the fault was entirely the other drivers. my paperwork is all in order, except for one thing. my inspection is a couple of weeks over due.

How do I aquire another title to my car, if I lost the original?

am i going to have a problem with the other drivers insurance company? the "other" drivers insurance company is sending a claims adjuster out to come take a look at the damage made to my car. obiously, he/ she will find out about the inspection status of the car. what are the implications of this.

My car was parked in a designated area ,payed for by my company, It was hit while parked,What do I do next?

my car is insured and registered in nj. i'd appreciate any help.

Advice needed for dealing with an insurance adjuster. Can you help?

what do you mean your inspection is a few weeks overdue and "inspection status?" what does that mean? don't you have insurance? and if you do, why didn't you have your insurance company handle your repairs? i can understand if you don't want to pay your deductible and i can understand if your thought process is "i'm not at fault, why should I get my insurance involved." but at the same time you have a car that's damaged & you want it repaired, so why wouldn't you mitigate your damage & get it fixed? whether you wait on someone else's insurance company or not is completely up to you, but if you do, don't start moaning & groaning about your inspection being "overdue." whether your insurance pays upfront & gets reimbursed by the adverse or you go directly thru the adverse.either way they're paying for your damages.

You should not have a problem! After all there is a problem with failure to control a motor vehicle (The person that hit you!). Almost like running into a legally parked car!

Since you aren't real specific I will have to assume that by "inspection" you are talking about a state mandated emmissions or exhaust inspection.

If that is the case, you have nothing to worry about. The adjuster isn't going to care about that and unless you say something to them (don't do it ) they will have no way of knowing. they will photograph the damages, write an estimate and depending on the company may issue you a check on the spot.

It is my second time, taking my learners permit test, and i failed it by 1question should i feel bad??

It depends on what the inspection in your state involves. Usually, it's just to check the lights, brakes, etc. and not the condition of the body of the car.

I don't think the overdue inspection should have any effect on the outcome. Don't mention it to the adjuster. If he/she does find out and talks about it, do NOT let him say that it'll affect the amount of money you get.

What he'll probably do is make sure the damage you're claiming lines up with what actually happened. Some people may get rear-ended, for example, then try to say the accident ruined their entire stereo system and they need a new one, or they try and blame other previous car damage on the accident.

State inspection? -- Don't sweat -- the insurance company doesn't give a rats-a** about that unless they find your vehicle was totally unsafe to be on the road. Your late inspection status is strictly between you and the state.
