Question:
not sure if i already hold a provisional licence for lgv with me having a full pcv licence
Answers:
How easy is the drivers permit test?
Your pcv license is catagory D, LGV licenses are catagory C . If you dont have "Cat C full "on your license already you need to apply for the appropriate C class provisional license and take the theory and practical test.Yes its stupid as you already have a cat D license but when did the DVLA ever do anything clever.
Can two people register the same car?
I think your licence covers you for prov/hgvI was the opposite from you I had hgv 1 and wanted psv licence, I was lucky my friend had buses on the road and he let me learn on his buses, but I think now you will have to go to a driver training school and get your class 2 first
then go on to class 1, good luck..
You would not automatically have a provisional for a LGV if you have a PCV licence. If you have a photocard licence then the provisional entitlement will be on the paper counterpart. It will show as a C. If you hold the old style paper licence it will show on there under provisional entitlement.
In order to get a LGV licence you first need to apply for the provisional entitlement C and then take a theroy and practicle test. You need 2 forms - D2 is the application form and D4 is the medical form which you need to have completed by your doctor - Once these 2 forms are completed you need to send them off to DVLA with your driving licence.
If i bring a car from out usa do i have to pay extra tax?
Once you have passed the cat C and you claim your test pass with DVLA they will automatically put a provisional entitlement on for a CE.
