im not going to ether my friend ran a red light her picture clear as can be.. but ticket was sent to me being the registered owner
Answers:
UK car insurance: does reporting an accident where neither side claims affect your No Claims Bonus?
*UK ONLY*as the registered keeper of the vehicle you will have to declare who was driving under section 172 of the RTA. Which in a nutshell means you have to snitch or you get in trouble yourself.
Its lose or lose I'm afraid
You don't have to say it was your friend, but if you don't the ticket is down to you.
If you don't want your friend to get the ticket then don't. If you think she should pay it because it was her fault, then you can. It depends on the matter, if it's something important then tell. If not then I guess it's okay to let it go.
if shes a good friend and you can prove she was at fault then she should be willing to pay the fine on your behalf.
I recently moved from Texas to Utah 2 years ago, but now I need my old drivers license number.?
You can fight it if you want to,good luck, since you are registered owner, you are responsible for what happens in your car.pay the ticket, and get friend to reimburse you.Gieco has wrong VIN# for my truck. Now what?
Doesn't really matter who was driving. You are responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle, and the ticket is yours. The only exception would be if someone had stolen your car and was driving it without your permission, and it was reported stolen before the ticket was issued.I know when your 25 or older your insurance is lower?
Points, if any, will go on your driving record, and insurance increase, if any, will be against you.
My friend let her brother drive her car and he was uninsured?
Be careful who you loan your car to.
What is the solution to our wrecked vehicle and insurance not paying?
That's the problem with red light cameras. They only track the owner because of the license plate, so you get the ticket. I'm pretty sure the court will require proof (maybe seeing you're not the same person as on the picture will be enough) but ultimately it will come down to the fact that you own it. And you said you're not gonig to snitch, so why does it even matter?Good luck.
Depends on the ticket. If there are no points attached to it, which is true of most jurisdictions, they don't care who was driving, just pay the ticket and make your friend cover it. If there are points, then definitely id the driver. You would have to be crazy to let points go on your licence if you aren't the driver.
