Help please?

Question:
I lost my drivers permit, (Texas) and cannot find it, pretty sure it got trashed when cleaning. Will I have to retake the drivers permit test? will I have to restart the six month time period until I get my license? please help
any ideas...I've called the DPS, but they are closed for the weekend. and Im 16, so I can' t just go and get my license.

What do you have to do to get your license at 16??

Most likely you will just have to go to the DMV and get a duplicate. People loose their licenses all the time. Just a matter of paying for a replacement.
