Speeding ticket in California back on record after getting another?
Usually, the insurance company will see it on your record and ask you the details of the accident and leave it at that. Most of the time the company will only add insurance points if they paid over a certain dollar amount (my state is $1,000) for property damage (yours and/or the other party's) or $900 for bodily injury liability. It is possible they will use the accident to change tier or as one of the reasons to nonrenew if there has been a bunch of claims or tickets on your record. How do you go about getting your drivers lisence reinstated after paying off your tickets?
If you were ticketed by the police, this will show in your records and your insurance will act accordingly. Insurance companies do not judge your history by the number of claims you have, they do this through the DMV...and even with claims, it largely depends on each situation on a case by case basis.
