Question:
I purchased a car through a dealership on January 26, 2007. My temporary registration that was issued originally at the dealership expired March 23, 2007. My plates are rather expensive. I went to the court house on March 23, 2007 and asked if there was any way to get an extension. They gave me only two weeks. That means the temporary registration expired again on April 6, 2007. When I went to the courthouse today to ask for an additional extension, it was closed. Can I still drive my vehicle? Do I have the 30 day grace period like you do when you are to purchase new tags for your license plates?

Can you apply to have points on your driving license removed early?
In most states there is not a grace period on temporary or permanent plates on any vehicle. I'm hearing "Gee, these tags are expensive, so I want to wait." Well, I'd suggest you quit waiting and get your permanent tags, or face the very real possibility of being ticketed at least and towed at worst. Can i register my car if the title isnt in my name?
Some states do have a 30 period where there is no payment penalty on expired tags, but as far as I know, in all states, once your tags are expired, they are expired.
