No one will give him cheap car insurance lol. But tescos is really cheap. But its best to go to www.confused.com or the money super market not sure of the website but google will give it to you. Just type in the details and you get loads of results from different companys.Does a ticket for not wearing your seat belt affect your car insurance in CA for a 20 year old?
try endsleigh! i used them when I was that age and they were the cheapest my mother and i could find. they deal especially with students as well!If I am insured on one car, could I drive another car without breaking the law?
If you live in the UK then Tesco take some beating. My daughter was a named driver on my policy at 17. The first year was £800 then dropped second year to £530.cheap car insurance isn't always the way to go. unless your son has an old car of course. it also depends on the state you live in or where you live . you can ask you insurance agent maybe they know of another company that will be able to help you out. although if you insure your sons auto under your insurance it will cost you less than if you only insure him. that will be saving your son some money. you can always ask to have your son added to the policy as an occasional diver.
Do aplogise but deez is correct. the best thing to do is scout around for online quotes. Use yell.com to find local brokers as some can offer really good deals (mine did). its not as easy as asking people and they'll tell you 'cause the chances are things will have changed. I was with my broker from 17 (im 23 now) and this year things changed and my broker was not the chepest or the best deal. As the insurers changed their policy on young drivers they had to get a quote from another insurer which couldn't match the deal I have now. So asking is not a problem but don't expect for them to be the cheapest or have the best deal.
And plz get him to do the work so he knows what to do. Its like my brother wants to drive my car but never helps me when searching for quotes and stuff and I forced him this year (he's 20 now) and he didn't have a clue and gave up. So get your son to do the work, you just check over the details before he/you buy the policy. Its not fair now. I work at a certain call centre taking payments for a certain road charging scheme and was surprised to see how many parents fork out payments for thier kids. They want to drive but don't want the responsibility that comes with it. I don't think thats on. I'll be honest my parents hepled me with my first couple years on insurance but then I accepted it as my birthday and christmas and other festive presents all in one as they were so insistant.
Property taxes must be paid before you can register car. What do you do if you are a renter?

You should try Eagle insurance company they have some of the lowest rates around. Can I drive my second car without insurance?
try viking insurance. im only 19, and i drive a 2000 grand am, and it started off at 240 per month, and now it's only 98, so im happy with that. you could also put him on ur policy, and that would save alot. old people get cheap insurance, so i'd do that. my parents wouldnt do that for me, and i would have appretiated it. drivers ed, and good grades also help alot, and i didnt have the good grades, so i was still kinda screwed, but viking is a pretty good company. hope i helpedDo you have a fixed license plate fee in your state?
It'll cost you a fortune wherever you go, but try a quote from Tesco. I seem to recall competitive rates from them when the youths in our family were just starting out. There is none but you can try http://www.confused.com or http://www.moneysupermarket.com... to find the cheapest.
$10,000 fee, and cant drive for 3 years! is that reasonable?
Your son has no chance of getting cheap car insurance,at 18 years of ageCar tax group G does the increase apply to all registered vehicles or those 1 year old and onwards ?
Try admiral, bell and elephant! theyve always been the cheapest! Can i get licsence plates in my name if i have a suspended drivers liscence?
You can go to this page (http://www.dmv.org/car-insurance.php)... and get quotes from a few companies. I was able to save like $300, but I don't remember which of the services I used on that page to find the cheaper company. I was also VERY happy that I did not get even one piece of "insurance spam" e-mail ha, ha, ha. Good Luck!Where can I find which states require for vehicles to have front licence plates?
The best thing to do would be to have you, if you drive, as the main driver and add your son to the policy. I am 24 and have a Toyota Yaris with a tiny engine and the insurance quotes were ridiculous, so I am now a named driver on my boyfriends insurance for £450 per year, also Direct Line let all named drivers build up their own no claims discount too so if he has no accidents he will get a better rate when he re-insures as he will have some no claims too.More Questions & Answers ...
