Question:
My friend was involved in a multi-car accident. A Car cut her lane on the highway hitting my friend's car.. and another car and then another car.
The car that hit my friend drove off. My friend had a full car of passengers and some injuries did occur in her car and other parties car. The other cars were involved did see the car cutting her off. Will it be considered her fault since that car ran away?
Thanks

What is the fine in dollars for an expired drivers license when i go to court for the offense?
She needs to inform the police its a hit and run, its not her fault, if she has witness' even better.Unless someone got the at fault parties tag information and the police can find their car and PROVE it was involved in the accident.. there is no one to go after for damages/injuries.
In this case the car would be covered under collision on her friends policy and the injured parties would have to see if there was any coverage for injuries on their personal car insurance policies.
Sound's like a hit, and run.. And in most cases with this type of incident as long as there is a police report filed she should be fine... That basically documents that it wasn't her fault..
