Question:
My wife and I are California residents, but we are in Hawaii on vacation and she got a speeding ticket on a rental car. If she paid the ticket, would that still go on her record? Is it better to try to contest it and see what the judge says? Is it even possible to go to driving school, or is that an option only when you get a ticket in some states? This is her first ticket and I hate to see it affect her insurance rates.

the kid that work for me ( 28 years old) got a ticket in Hawaii in June of 05,it was for speeding he paid it and till this day nothing is showing on his Calif licenseHow can I obtain a title to a vehicle that was never finished being paid for?
Most insurance companies 1 ticket wont effect it enough to out weigh going to court. If you don't pay it I wouldn't go back to Hawii ever because they can issue a warrent. I got one out of state and just mailed in the fine and went on my way I never noticed a change in my insurance rate but I was also in my own vehicle not a rental.Just call the local courthouse and ask them if the ticket will go against her record. If the ticket was only for a few miles an hour over the limit it shouldn't cause a large jump in her rates, if at all.
where can I find an old NC driver's license number?
Being her first ticket, and while on vacation in another state, it may show up but probably wouldn't affect her insurance much if at all. Just a blip on the radar. If you read the ticket it will give you options as to what you can do. If you contest it and enter a "Not guilty" they will set you a court date and you would either have to go yourself or hire an attorney in Hawaii to handle it for you. Frankly I'd just pay it and forget about it.What do car insurance companies look at in your records?
Since you paid the ticket, it's too late to do anyting about it. Paying a ticket constitutes a guilty plea.looking for personal injury lawyer in new jersey??or name of accident lawyers advertised on tv?

Check with your insurance company when you get home and see if she can go to traffic school and get the rate increase rolled back.
I am 20 and wondering is there a minimum age wen you can drive in europe?
It's usually cheaper to hire an attorney and see if they can plead it down to a no-point infraction than it is to pay the increased insurance rates. That's especially true when you're traveling.
