In Louisiana, fingerprints are required only if you are applying for a HazMat or HazMat Tank endorsement on your commercial driver's license. Otherwise, it is not required and the fingerprinting is a federal requirement under the Patriot Act so it is required in all states for the HazMat endorsements.
