What the heck, do not buy a sixteen year old a 2007 mustang. Trust me, no matter how good of a driver they think they are, its a bad idea. 16 year olds believe they are invincible and I know that sounds cliche but I'm 18 and I am just know becoming a safer driver. Get her reliable transportation. Buy a decent used car with not a lot of flash. She is SO young, you really don't want her to get distracted while driving and getting caught up in "showing off" to her friends. Seriously. Driving at her age is just chock full of distractions which is a big danger to teens. The chances of her having a fender bender is extremely high in the first year and having a beautiful brand new car will only add to that distraction and further add to the the expense with insurance. When she demonstrates that she is capable of driving well for at least a year or more, THEN get her something nicer if you have the finances to do so.New car registration - The new two lettered one...?

I wouldnt get her a Mustang as her first car. You want to get her something that wil get her around safely. She needs to work up on the mustang. This is just part of teaching responsibility. Besides, you dont want to get her a high performance vehicle the first car she has....Dangerous. Try somethin with a I-4 or V6 engine as a starter car.Wow....don't get her a mustang.
