Question:
what did you do? I hear you have a mandatory one year suspension, how can I dispute that?
Answers:
I have a broken neck and a broken left arm from a motorcycle accident?
If your driving around with no insurance, you deserve whatever punishment you get. I know that the DMV charges an $8 a day penalty for each day that you have no insurance. I dont think there is a mandatory 1 years suspension though. It all depends on how long you have been driving without insurance. Expect 30-60 day suspension.Every state is different but I do know that some states will suspend your driver's license if your insurance lapses or is cancelled. Once you have reinstated your insurance, go to the DMV & show proof of that. You may have to pay a reinstatement fee. I don't know anything about there being a mandatory one year suspension, but it sure doesn't seem right. You would think you would be able to reinstate your license as soon as you have reinstated your insurance. But like I said, each state is different.
