What does the word Voluntary Excess mean in term of Car insurance?
In Texas it is 10 days after the settlement (my dad just actually told me that about 2 mins ago)... but your lucky they'll even fix your car, mines a total loss, and it isn't even that bad, I guess airbags, a new radiator, and a new bumper and hood is just too much for Allstate to expense on my part. But ask your insurance person, or call a diff agency and just ask them.
My car got impounded how can I take my name of the ownership.?
It varies from company to company, as well as state laws. Im in MA and the limit is a year...Nice hat by the way, got one myself just like it.hi,
if you got a check from your ins. co. they have already deducted your deductible. the check is yours, to fix your car or to do whatever you want with it.
it's your money to do with what you want, you don't even have to fix the car if you don't want to.
When I was in an accident last year (not my fault), I just took it to a shop the other driver's insurance company approved of, and the shop billed the insurance company.
I think that kind of answers your question.
