How expensive is car insurance under my own name rather than my Mom's name?

My mom's car insurance covers me...but they are threatening to take me off her insurance over something stupid.

Things taken into consideration when getting insurance include, credit check, make/model/yr of car, if you live in a high crime area, is your model car often broken into, does the description of the car include the words turbo, sport, coupe. If you don't change anything on the policy except for the name, I would guess your rate will be 2 1/2 times what your mom pays now.

well it will be alittle more expensive cuz your age, but it also depends on what kind of car you have, because if you have a small car it will be higher, but if you have an 89 suburban, then it should be cheaper, cuz there is a less likley chance of being hurt in an accident
