Question:
I currently have a suspended license and I went to the DMV to renew my license but they told me that I need to have a SR-22 from an insurance company. I do not currently have a car, but I am driving my fiancee's car around when I need to. Is there anyway that I can just get the SR-22 and not have to be insured under her car, because if I have a license then I will automaticlly be insured as a licensed driver of her car

How do I find out how much my speeding ticket is in Dallas,Texas?
Unfortunatly, you need insurance and you need to carry the sr-22 for 3 years as well, ( which means your insurance rates are about tripled) And you do not want to drive with a suspended license, as then you will have 2 strikes against you, and even more of a financial burden...The DMV will not renew your license with-out you showing financial liability, insurance and SR-22.how to same money on car insurance? any discounts?
An SR22 is proof of insurance. You will have to buy liability insurance to drive her car.Get a non-owner policy from GMAC or Progressive that allows you to have the minimum required liability insurance and the SR22
If your in a car accident and your the car in the middle........?
non owners insurance policy from a broker will get you an sr22- you may want to check your fiancees insurance company to see if you are indeed covered under their policy.A Cowboy walked into a car dealership and said?
To get an sr-22 requires a policy. A policy called a named non owner is written to insure a driver who does not own a car.More Questions & Answers ...
