It sounds to me that the vehicle was firat registered in the UK in November 2004. Then you purchased it, and now the registration is showing when you bought and registered it, in December 2006. Did you buy the car in December?Do you need proof of insurance to go get your drivers license?

I live in maryland, where would I go to get my motercycle licence?
However, the "first registration in the UK" suggests you are in Northern Ireland, but that your car was previously registered in England, Scotland or Wales. If so, then the MOT will normally be due on or before the 4th anniversary of the first registration date, but it is best to check with DVLNI, as they sometimes seem to decide on another date (my Mum's previous car was originally registered in England. It almost 5 years old before DVLNI decided it should be MOT'd - she tried to get it done at 4 years but the vehicle testing agency refused to do it).
