If you have you car fully Insured / comprehensive Insured and your friends bang it up or involved in an accident ,of coures you can claim the insurance provided your policy is in Vogue / currently paid up for the year and not expired.Third party using the veh is not the issue as it is your car and it has met with an accident with another car who might or not be having the insurance or only a third party insurance where in they will /can get full or part compensation for their claim depending on the papers they produce.Wishing you all the luck in getting the claim passed.

Usually if you drive another persons car under your insurance it only entitles you to third party claims. Why would it insure you for the car you borrowed for damage, you are insured fully comprehensively only for your own car.
