how old were you when you got your permit?
i want to get mine this week and im 16 and my brother who has his licence said that the test to get a permit isn't hard but im still nervous.help. any suggestions?

The only answer and the best one for this question is a drivers manual. Every state has their own and it explains the rules of the road etc. . Just read through it a little but don't torture yourself over it. The tests are fairly easy ( I'm sure you have seen some of America's worst drivers and they managed to get it didn't they?) you will do fine

I was 16 (the minimum age in NY); my advice is to get the manual and study it. Most of the questions are common sense, but there are a few that need to be read and learned. Just relax and remember that it's not the end of the world. Even if you fail (which is highly unlikely), you can always take it again after studying the manual more thoroughly. Good luck.
