How bad is a 'caution' ?

Question:
just received a speeding ticket driving in the UK. i was doing 36mph on a 30mph road. police have offered me a fixed fine of £60 and 3 points on my licence or to take a speed awareness course with a 'caution' - which means no fine and no points but does anyone know the implications of having such a caution? whats best to do? should i just pay the fine and take the points? or take the caution?

Answers:

Wat website tells u like how many speeding tickets and uhave and when ull get ur dl back if u lost them?

Take the caution, and take the course, and keep your license record clean.
The police must have been in a good mood that day.

I got into a rear end collision and i cant stop crying..?

Take the caution. Then the speeding ticket doesn't show up on your insurance and you won't be paying higher premiums. Man, I wish I had luck like that.
