Question:
I'll try to be brief. I get pulled over for expired tags. I deserve it and the policeman writes it up and I have until March 5th to get new tags and pay the fine. All fine and good. I'm in a metropolitan area where suburbs connect and 7 days later am pulled over in another city or jurisdiction. Policeman writes me up for an expired tag and on this one I have until March 20 to get my tags and pay the fine.
Do you need a special foreign license to drive in germany?
The tags are related to the state meaning that it is a tax the state puts on. But now I have two city's charging me with the same thing . even while I have not passed the deadline for the first fine which was March 5th. I have now got new tags and am ready to go pay the fines but was just wondering.
Who wouldve been at fault had there been a collision?
Can they do that and if not what do I need to do.

I am not a lawyer, but common sense leads me to this:How much does it cost to get a replacement drivers licence in Illinois?
You technically broke the law in two different jurisdictions, so you can be punished by both jurisdictions.
Where on line can I take a Missouri's practice permit test?
If I were you, I would go to court on the second ticket. Bring a copy of the first ticket and proof that you _paid your registration_ (i.e. pay your registration fee NOW) and ask the judge very *politely* that since you were already fined once, if they could drop the second fine.
Hey next time pay for the tags on time. End of problem As long as your running around with expired tags they can ticket you all they want.
when you go to get your expired tags, for the first one, bring the reciept. and go to the second one and bring the receipt showing that you have them. likely they will throw it out. I really don't think they can. but when you go to pay the fine on the first one, ask them what you should do about the second one. good luck.
Has anyone ever dealt with Statefarm insurrance, for a claim against one of there insurred who...?
Yes you can.Any idea how much insurance is on a slightly new mustang for a 16 year old?
It is not the police officers responsibility to know whether or not you already were cited for that offence. You should have stated the fact to him before he cited you a second time.
If your insurance policy does not state if you are coverd to drive others cars, are you?
Either way there is another citation he could have given you to take the vehicle home and not drive it until the violation was corrected. You may be able to appeal the second citation through the courts, but that is about all your options.
What is the fine in dollars for an expired drivers license when i go to court for the offense?
Since you say the tickets are from two different cities, yes, they can do that. If they were from the same city, they would not be allowed to ticket you again until the time had expired on the first one.I believe you can be ticketed for the same violation in different jurisdictions. Usually on something like that a judge will throw the second one out but don't count on it. Different counties different judges. If the car is illegal you can be pulled over in every separate jurisdiction that you enter. I had a tail light out and work in a different county than I lived at the time and I happened to get a ticket for it in both counties. Good luck with that one.
What is car outright.(title in hand) means?
When you go in to pay the first fine, tell them about the second one you received and where you received it.They'll probaly tell you to address your concerns at the city where you got the ticket...but I wouldn't worry, it'll be waived.
I am 32 and want to learn to drive. confused about insurance?
Ironically, the same thing happened to my friend last year. She got 2 tickets for the same thing 1 week apart. She had to fight the second ticket but in the end she only had to pay once.
