Driving, motorcarrier, Only have L....?

MMMMMk!....
my mom owns this business that is basically oporated by motor carrier. (canada) . And its like a Van thats like a taxi for kids. only my mom needs some help with the driving sometimes because she becomes a tad over whelmed? lol. i maintian my "cool" nomatter what when i am driving the probolem is , is that
a) i am not 19
b) i only have my L ( but have been driving for a longtime)
c) Her vehicle is a commercial vehicle .
They say that only a 19 yearold is eligable to drive a commercial vehicle, i know my mom would let me , if she just knew that she would be alowed to do so , without getting in trouble.
Question is , would i be able to drive her Van ( with her in it ) because i AM a family memeber , so it would be under her liabilty now wouldnt it? i could REALLY get an awsome awnser from somebody right now. if so thank you very much and i will 100% pick the best awnser.

There are stricter rules regarding Commercial vehicles because of the higher risks and increased liablity. Even if you were 19 but still had a learners you would be ineligilbe to drive her van because of the commercial rating, regardless of whether you are family or not. I *believe* that even drivers still in the graduated system can't drive a commercial vehicle until they get @ least a full class 5
If you were to drive the commercial veh and got in a collision her insurance company could refuse the claim because of it which means you and your mom would be financially responsible for any costs arising from a claim (if you were at fault). Even if you weren't at fault the other insurance company could claim your mom was negligent in allowing you to drive.

If you have talked to her insurance company and they have said only 19 years+ are eligilble to drive the veh - then there is your answer
