Question:
Can anyone recommend auto insurance companies (for California) that only look at three years of driving history instead of five? Something other than Progressive. Thanks.
Answers:
What determines car insurance prices?
Most companies only look at 3 years unless there is a DUI or some other major violation. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref...

None. this is mandated by the State of California Insurance Commission. If my car is stolen and in an accident, can a claim be made on my insurance?
Allstate insurance starts you out clean and untill you have an accident or speeding ticket or something really extremly bad I will recomand it for anybodyI work for State Farm and we only count the last three years unless a DUI in involved, but if answer #1 is correct, then it sounds like California regulations require 5 years.
