AAA Auto Extended Warranty?

I wanted to know whether one would recommend the AAA Auto Extended Warranty. I am contemplating to purchase an extended warranty and wanted some perspectives. If you don't recommend AAA, what other companies do you recommend?

They are all about the same and I have purchased several over the years. AAA is a solid company with a good name. Cheapest isn't always the least expensive.

Just remember that your not buying a "warranty". You are buying an insurance policy against mechanical breakdowns and the breakdown may or may not be covered under the policy, or the policy issuer may send an insurance adjuster to look at the vehicle before authorization for the repair is given.

Most of the auto manufacturers offer their own extended warranties. I have only one experience with an aftermarket warranty company and it went fairly well. I change my own oil and they wanted proof of the oil and filters that I had used over a couple of years. If you use an aftermarket company and do the work yourself, save the receipts.
