Question:
just brought a car but im not insured on it yet as i only have a provisional license. Ive got my test the end of this month and this will sound cocky but i ave a feeling i will pass it ok. But if i get insurance now with a provisional license and pay it in installments, if and when i pass my test, Do people usualy have to pay the following 11 months of provisional insurance (at a higher cost) instead of the full license cost, do you get me?
kinda confusing..but if you know anything about it from your own experience or something, wil you tell me what insurance people you r with so i can check them out..i live in ireland by the way so dont tell me about english companies please :)
like eg..
my insurance is 1500e, i pay say 30e a week or something on a provisional license.
opposed to:
my insurance is 800e, i pay just 20e a week or something on a full license..
Do i still have to finish paying 1500e instead of 800e?

Worldpoints platinum plus visa covers Auto Rental Collision Damage ? if yes for how many days?
If you pay it each month in installment you will be charged 4 or 5 dollars a month for there processing fee. So over the next 6 months you will only pay about an extra 30 bucks tops. Where as if you pay it in full at the beginning of your policy term you will not have to pay the monthly chargesHow much can I expect to spend to buy back a wrecked car from insurance?
If you pay your insurance for the full year for instance, on a provisional license you'll be paying more than on a full license. When you pass your test you ring them to change your policy to one on a full UK license , they will then refund you the difference. If paying monthly in installments if there is any of the month left you should get some money back, otherwise you'll be paying the cheaper sum from then on for your other installments.
I lost my driving licence and now what?? please help!?
P.S. For future reference if you're a girl it tends to be cheaper to get a policy from a male orientated policy, if you're a guy it seems to be cheaper to go for a girl's insurance such as Diamond. Stupid, I know.
Car Collission Insurance, Pls help?
In many cases your insurance on a provisional licence will be cheaper than on a full licence. This is because a new full licence holder is a greater risk, as they are not required to be supervised, and have more accidents.More Questions & Answers ...
