I'd probably re-insure this car while you are trying to sell it. You ownt be able to let anyone test drive this car if it has no liability insurance on it. Kind of hard to sell it that way.You don't have to have insurance on it to sell it, but if it's being driven by you or anyone else and an accident happens in the meantime that means you'll be responsible for any damage done. Why don't you reinstate your policy for now and if you sell the vehicle you can then cancel and get a refund of any money still outstanding on your policy?
