What steps do you take after a car accident?
Insurance is insurance among the large companies. You just need to find which company offers you the lowest rate for your zip code, gender, vehicle, driving record, etc. You may want to try getting a quote online. Driver's license test tomorrow!?
When I lived in NYC, I had Allstate first, then switched to Geico since their rates were lower and offered a more user-friendly payment plan. (Of course, I was married, over thirty and had been driving for fifteen years; my ex-wife was a new driver, but they didn't hold that against us - no premium increases or penalties were asssessed). As far as claim resolution, I don't know which is better since I didn't have any claims.
