If the Accord is a 4 door, 4 cylinder, auto trans. then you will save even more $$$. The Honda might not be as flashy but it is a much more reliable car and better value in the long run. Yes, The BMW will cost more than the Honda. Generally car insurance are based on Class of the Vehicle, cost it take to repair after accidents, etc...Some exception applies like performance vehicles cost more to insure.
It doesnt matter how much the car worth or what year it is, cuz the cost to repair an 1995 BMW 3 is about the same as a 2007 BMW3.
