I have talked to the the guy that hit my car and want's to exchange "information" .I don't think this is cool.do I need to provide "any information" other than I'm the owner of said car? Thanks, to you.
Answers:
Does anyone know where I can find a list of average auto insurance rates by vehicle?
Oh of course. And then he will send a check in an envelope addressed to "Owner of said car"?When you are in an accident, you exchange information, insurance information, so the two companies can communicate. You also give you name, address and license information, again so the insurance companies will be able to communicate.
Car insurence, estimated milage innacuracy?
You call your insurance and give them his information so they will know what's going on when his insurance company calls them.
Claims adjuster on uninspected vehicle?
Why would you not think this is cool? Have you ever read the "What to do in case of an accident" things your insurance keeps giving you?
I was in a car accident Saturday, could I have some advice?
whenever there is an accident both driver must exchange information and file a police report and call your insurance company and tell them what happen. the insurance will continue from there. If it was in a parking lot and not on the street the police will not do much since it was on private property. You need to exchange information and if he is admitting fault you should be okay. Call his insurance asap and file a claim and youll get your money
yes by law you have to give him your insurance unless you say that you cant find out who hit your car then you would have to get the company you work for to pay you and this would include a report from the local police on the day it happend but sounds to late for that
If you expect his insurance company to cover your loss you damn well better give them your information.
Sheeeze...
Have an accident report prepared and have his insurance company pay for the damages. Most insurance companies consider their driver's to be 100% not at fault in only 2 instances: vehicle was parked and when you are struck in the rear.
