Question:
If not its a good way to save money. :S
Answers:
Do you have to have insurance when taking ur driving test in california?
As with most things regarding insurance, it's highly state-specific beyond that. However, most states do require that you carry at least liability insurance (to cover anyone else you might get into an accident with.)
For example, in Virginia, you're required to carry a minimum level of liability coverage. If you're caught driving without a valid insurance card, you'll be given a specific time frame to prove you have insurance. If you fail to provide the required documentation, they will fine you, suspend your license, and require you to carry something called an sr-22 (financial responsibility) filing for as long as three years. (If you have to carry an sr-22 filing, any time you allowed your insurance to cancel, the DMV will be automatically notified, your license would be suspended again, and you'd start the process all over.) There is also a $500 fine and a $95 reinstatement fee to get your license back. In fact, all of this applies if you have an active license plate, regardless of whether or not you are pulled over, or even whether or not your car will run.
Where can i get a replacement car alarm certificate?
Every state handles it differently (and some are even more harsh) -- you'd definitely want to check the laws in your state before going without.
And if all that isn't enough to scare you... there's the small matter that anyone with whom you have an accident would come after you personally for damages. Considering how much the average car can cost (not to mention if you hit multiple cars, a tractor trailor or three, or even a building) you can see how that can add up to a lot of money. And while that may not seem like a big deal to someone without a lot of personal assets, keep in mind they can also garnish your wages. In Virginia, they can keep coming after you for a total of 21 years (though that, too, would vary by state.)
What are the different types of auto insurance?
NO,IT GOES ON UR TRAFFIC RECORDIf you report to your insurance?
does type of crimes are misdemeaners meaning that they are not violent acts but you will have to appear in court if caught with out registraiton or insurance and will have to pay a fine but versus not having insurance for 4 years its like a savings but get caught you will have to pay so its win loose situationGetting car insurance for a hard top convertible at 17 years old?
This does not result in a criminal record but to address the second part of your question.only a fool would drive without proper insurance. Example, you're out driving and suddenly you are involved in an accident and it is your fault. There is considerable damage to both vehicles and people are injured. Now, who's going to pay? The liable party (which is you) is going to be sued personally and those injuries were much worse than you thought at first, in fact someone died as a result of this accident. At that point you can kiss everything you own, or ever hope to own, good-bye. You are working the rest of your life to pay off this debt.Does anyone know a carr insurance company that quotes and lets you print certificate?
So where did the savings come in here?
