Does a car insurance premium depend on mileage the car has as well being 25 yrs old and older?

Question:
i just want to know whether my premium will decrease, so far my insurance thinks i have only 6,000 miles on the car...but i have 20,000...but i don't use it daily...just for weekend trips (which racked up the mileage i have so far)...should i tell them i have more mileage then what they are assuming?

What happens to my insurance after a dui and an accident?

More mileage does affect rates, usually it tiers. For my company, 4,000 or less is the best, then 5,000-18,000, then 20,000-25,000, etc.
Frankly, I wouldn't worry about the mileage issue unless they ask.
You get a discount when your policy renews and you're over 25. Exactly how much varies from company to company.

My car is registered in UK, but lives in France, Can I insure it with a UK company?

No that doesn't matter. You don't drive it every day and the insurance company is only looking for an estimate. You've got nothing to worry about. If you do increase your milage, they might charge you a few bucks more. Nothing big.

Car accident law suit?

It depends on several varialbles. How old you are, how long you've been driving, do you have any traffic tickets or accidents, how much is owed on the car, what type of car it is, the age of the car, and how many people will be driving it.

Car Accident Settlement Question?

Some insurance companies use mileage in their quotes. I have AARP and they request your mileage when you renew. If you stated 6,000 miles, and at renewal time you show 20,000, your rate will definately go up. Some insurance companies or policies do not consider mileage, for example if you carry liability only, mileage is not counted. Check your policy to see what your situation is.
