How do I rent a car? without any insurance (i have no car)?
The answer that Sandra D gave earlier made good sense, but when I referred to the link she indicated I did not find the specific answer to your question either. This page (http://www.dmv.org/nc-north-carolina/ren... will give you the basic requirements, options and process for renewing that license. However, neither that site nor the state DMV web site specifically spell out what happens if you renew after the expiration (however, they do point out you can only renew up to 180 days before). The NC Drivers Handbook states that in order to renew your license you must have a North Carolina license that has not expired more than a year.
Does the State of Ohio is points on your license for a speeding ticket on Federal property?
The conclusion I draw from the information on the web is that you should be able to renew your license up to one year after it expires through the normal process. However, to determine if you will be charged with some sort of fine at the renewal because the license is expired, I would advise you get the NC DMV number from this page (http://www.dmv.org/dmv-phone-numbers.php... and ask them directly.
New Jersey No Threshold Option?
Before your license expires, the DMV will mail you a reminder card explaining the number of years it will be valid. The card is not required in order to renew. If you do not have your current or expired license at renewal, you will be required to show the examiner two documents of identification. In addition, proof of social security number is required. See the below link for more specific documentation and requirements information.More Questions & Answers ...
