i had my level 2 lisence for about a week (actual plastic w/my photo) but its not a actual lisence, i passed all the road test and stuff. but today i hit a car at local parkinglot (totally my falut), both cars arent really damaged...but the guy took a copy of my insurance paper and he said his going to report it...
my car is due for a mot on 28th december.. can i get it now?
question #1: i herd somewhere, if a person with level 1-3 lisence need to be clear of any accidents. if thats true dose the state take my lisence right away?

Answer 1: depending on the state you live in. If the police were not called then it is unlikely the state will take your license. I work in the insurance industry and every state is different. I would advise you to contact your insurance agent right away. If the other driver is going to report the accident a claim will be filed. Did you get his information? Whether it was your fault or not you should have obtained his information as well. This way you will be able to give your insurance agent the other driver info. You should have also taken pictures of your vehicle once you were able to do so. I don't think the state can take your license away especially if there wasn't a police report. The second question is your insurance won't go up unless it is reported to your insurance, but the guy needs an actual police report to prove fault of the accident with an actual report. If you are ever in another accident get a police report to protect you even if it is your fault.
