A DR10 is endorsed on your licence for 10 years, if you DD again in this time period you will get an automatic 3 year ban.

Insurance normally asks any convictions/points on your licence within the last 5 years, so if it's over 5 years from the date then you don't have to disclose it but it does stay on your licence for 11 years.
