Question:
what if someone totals their car and has no insurance!? what do they do? does anyone know what happens? and what this person could or should do?
Answers:
There is nothing you can do ! buy a new car.
pony up for new car, or rebuild the wreck out of pocket
Light vehicle damage yet serious injury?
There is nothing to do except go out and buy a new vehicle. If they were at fault for the accident they will have to pay out for the damages they caused. If they weren't at fault for the accident turn in a claim to the other company and see if they will pay. In some states you can't collect if you don't have your own insurance.Anyone have car insurance through ESurance? What is your experiance so far with them?

tows car to junkyard and pays for new carAccident with a suspended license?
Suck it up and buy a new a car. There is no recourse without insurance. If you still owed money on the car that's totaled, you have to pay back every dime too.Uninsured and underinsured what exactly does that mean?
They buy another car. they might want to insure it this time.Hmm...they're basically screwed. If another car was involved, depending on who was at fault, they will be financially responsible for the damage to that car (as well as medical expenses incurred by the occupants of that car). The uninsured (provided this person is at fault and not the other if another car was involved) will be responsible to pay for the damages to his/her car (or purchase of a new one). I'm going to guess that police were called to the scene, especially if the car was totalled. In most states, the uninsured driver will be cited for no insurance. My brother, four years ago, ended up with his license suspended for 9 months for failure to show proof of insurance.
How long do points stay on your driving license?
