pay off your totalled vehicle out of pocket (if it is still financed) because if they dont they will sue you. when you are done doing that,buy a new car. sucks, but it is all you can do... you cant sue for your loss in most states because you didn[t have insurance...sorry...best of luck..

I'm going to guess that police were called to the scene, especially if the car was totalled. In most states, the uninsured driver will be cited for no insurance.
