Can a licensed 16 year old, drive even though he isn't insured?
I would ask for it in writing. If you claim you are married and there is a big claim the company would have grounds to deny because you are misrepresenting yourself. It may be different in AZ and you can do this but I am licensed in AZ and have never heard of it before. If you want to pursue this, go to the agents office and ask them to call the underwriter at the company for an OK to do this. If the underwriter OK's it you would be OKWhat is a deductable and what happens to it when your insurance premium when it is lowered?
Not in any of the states I've ever been an agent in! But maybe AZ is different. The big question is, will they put it in writing? If so, then go for it. If not, well, switch agents. Its called common law marriage and technically, you are married, in Arizona.
In some states, you have to do is say you are married in front of two witnesses and POOF! You are married and if you split up, you spouse can take half of everything, just as if you had a marriage certificate.
