I have this truck that I paid for with the understanding that the title was good then i found it has a lean ??

i would like to do something with this truck but i have been waiting for this title for six months now and the girl keeps telling me that the titles clear and the dmv keeps saying she has to bring in the lean release for it, i go to her and she tells me her brother which is the original owner has sent it in the mail but still nothing don't know what to do?

Had that problem my self. I got a bill of sale and the seller keep them me I would get the title. Well I got feed up with it and call the Higway patro State of S.C. investivegative office and and told them the story and sent them copies of my bill of sale and they went after the seller and got the title. If you have a bill of sale I suggest call your state Highway Patrol investivegative office and see if they can do for you.
