That I can claim married on our auto insurance policy in Arizona to receive a discount ... Is this correct?

The Steps of Getting a License at the age of 15?
The agent did that to get you the better "married" rate. That is not 100% legal - sort of a grey area. I stay away from agents who operate in the grey area. If you have a claim will the company pay it since your policies are set up wrong? I would suggest getting a new policy. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref...

Car Totalled - Insurance Claim Question?
I think that is illegal, at least in Ohio.I lower my car insurance deductible a week ago, would the insurance company accept my claim today?
Considering your insurance agent told you, then the assumption would be that he is correct, also considering he/she is the one doing the paperwork and not you, again I would say it is correct. Can a car be titled to one person but. , be in another persons insurance?northcarolina?
Common law marriage, perhaps?Do banks check if I have full cover insurance on the car at all times?
Would the agent be willing to put this in writing?Buing a car out of state how to transport with out plates?
If not, then you have your answer.
If yes, then you have some evidence in case the insurance company questions you.
Sacramento's state, for short?
My insurance agent told me that my 20 year old daughter would have to be married or 25 years old before the discount would apply. The main trouble I see with what your agent told you is that if you say you are married and you are living together - in some states that is all it really takes to be married and could get a lot more costly then the discount on the insurance would ever make up for. When my ex-husband and I moved in together a few years ago, my insurance company allowed us to be insured together on my policy. We got a substantial discount, even more so because we now got multi-car. We didn't get married for almost 2 years and they kept him on the entire time. I had (and still have) USAA and we did this in both CO and CA. I would assume if your agent is the one who told you about it, it must be correct. Go for it and save the money!
