Well, If I paid the ticket, will it show up on my record? Will it affect my insurance rates? I got a DMV printout in December, and it showed a clear record. I would like to know, since many job applications I fill out ask you to declare points. I dont want to say "no points" and get fired months down the road or something. I got a ticket for goin 81 Mph. in a 65 zone. I got the ticket at the I-10/I-20 interchange, where the speed limit changes from 80 to 65. I firmly believe the cop lied, as the ticket had so many errors....but I live 1200 miles from this place, so I paid the 200.00 BRIBE (Which was money orders only, written in the name of the judge.)

However, I would be more worried about your insurance company, they transend all states and have access to all records.If you have other traffic violations against you and you are young (under 25) then I would talk with an insurance agent. As if you are seeking to buy insurance. Don't ask your own agent as he may decided to have the company run your record.
But all in all, 1 speeding ticket, it is nothing.
