Who thinks that insurance and utilities have got to much power and should not be allowed to lobby laws ?

Question:
Making a living is one thing . But do you think there is a limit to what we should pay per unit, and per car. I mean you only drive one car at a time how about insuring your drivers lisense... That would just make to much since... What do you think ?

Car Insurance agents!?

So if your insurance is on your licence, and you own 2 cars, and drive one into the other, which one do you claim on? You know, if they allowed a claim at all, it would be on the cheapest vehicle.

Car insurance companies are legal theives! Where is someone to stand up for the little guy?

I DO

I am trying to get a bonded tile on a car that my roomate left 2 years ago. I do not knw where he is at nor ha

Yes. That would be a great idea. How bout we call it socialized car insurance. When we get into fender benders, we call a cop and wait for two days for him to show up and take a report. Then the insurance company will find nothing wrong and not pay the claim. sounds good to me.

I was rear-ended by a tractor trailer and don't have insurance. What do I watch for with no company on my side

Not logical at all. Yes, you can only drive one car at a time, but when you own 15 cars, and your wife is driving one while your friends are driving the others, do you think the insurance should NOT be able to collect a premium on each car you have that could, at any moment, but driven?

Can I take my name off a car loan and leave it to the cosigner?

No... because that make make a complicated payment to our monthly bill. I am paying $100 per month full corverage for my corolla. If i am insuranring my liscense instead, then they would charge me regardless of what i drive?? I can pay $100 per month to drive a Ferrari?? What if it gets stolen??
I dont think it would make much sense about insurance ur liscense.

What do i need to do i want to change my south african license into a british license?

Nope, if you have an expensive car, you should pay more.

They said i'm lost in the system, what do i do now?

As for too much power, both industries you mentioned are state regulated. Every year, Insurance companies must submit how much they were charging and what their profit was. The state insurance commissioner then decides if anyone is price gouging, not paying enough claims, etc.
Energy companies are regulated even tighter, they can't change their rates at all without approval from the state.

If you rent a car, you HAVE TO show proof of insurance right?

I agree it's never fun paying those bills and sometimes they seem outrageous, but they are regulated by your state and can't just charge whatever they feel. If you feel your being cheated, complain about the state regulators not doing their job. I think they are the real crooks.

Russell Thomas or Terry Gower?

It is a myth insurance companies have too much power. In California at least, insurers are really at a disadvantage IF ONLY CONSUMERS would take the time to carefully compare carriers and look beyond the cute commercials with Cavemen or Geckos; Kasey Kahne; or animated guys and gals touting the benefits of on-line insurance purchases.

What is the procedure to add a name to a vehicle title in PA? Are there any concerns to be considered?

Buying insurance is a serious matter. Sure, society has mandated that anyone in California operating a motor vehicle is obligated to provide for financial responsibility in the event of an accident so it is assumed everyone must purchase insurance - not so! Insurance is just ONE FORM OF PROVIDING FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. The serious side of purchasing insurance is about protecting your property (collision/comprehensive coverages) or assets (liability coverages) - how responsibly you operate your vehicle(s) goes a long way to determining how much risk you are asking an insurer to assume and how much you should be willing to pay for that protection. Ideally, if everyone operated their vehicle within the law; maintained it properly; and paid attention to how they were driving at all times, insurance rates would be far lower than they are and would still allow the insurer to make a fair profit. But just look around and see how people operate and maintain their vehicles and judge for yourself why rates are what they are!

Is it possible to get euro style plates in the us, and keep the numbers the same or do i have to change them?

God, you are such a whiner. Why don't you buy yourself a generator and self-insure your car?
Sheeze.

Car insurance payment due date?

Insurance companies have no real power. And if we insured you, and you were a bad driver, you'd pay as much to insure your license as you would your vehicle. And maybe more. When you insure your car, insurance companies know whether it has certain safety features and that may determine if you are more likely to have an accident. So what, under your fantastic theory do you do if you're not in your vehicle and it gets vandalized? Hmmm, well since we only insure you when you're driving a vehicle I guess you don't get the damages paid for.

'85 car, and received a citation for no vehicle registration; but I have to drive out my gas treatment.?

I don't really think that makes a lot of sense.

Just bought a used car, got insurance 4 it just awaiting paper work. can i tax it stright away?

You have entirely too much time on your hands. Why don't you get off the computer and make some "real" friend instead of boring us with your self righteous crap?
