Do i lose my driving licence if i get 6 points?
What you want is the "Motor Insurers Bureau". They will (eventually) pay out and try to recover the loss from the other driver. If they can't then they will just pay out. All insured drivers pay a part of the premium to fund this. You will almost certainly have to get a court judgement to start the process off.I totalled my car and didnt have collision, what now...?
All the insurance companies pay into a fund for accidents involving uninsured drivers.Cant remember what its called,im sure someone else who answers will know.

P.s. you claim from your own insurance and they get the money back from the fund.
My friend let her brother drive her car and he was uninsured?
Ask your insurers to advise - if he had no insurance it is an offence - insurance companies have a voluntary fund set up - paid for by you and me by the way - to assist! How old u have to be to buy car insurance?
You can sue them and probably win, then you have 10 years to collect. Through wage garnishments and things like that - life ain't fair - I bet you had insurance! You should add uninsured motorist coverage (it is cheap and covers you for cases like this)Your policy should have a portion that insures you against uninsured motorists. You should have received a breakdown of the coverage amounts and the cost to you when you bought your insurance and every time you renew it. This is usually a part of the minimum coverage required by law in most states.
Your insurance company will take care of the claim and go after the uninsured motorist. They will not necessarily raise your rates either. Last year my car was stolen and wrecked. It was repaired by the insurance company. 5 months later it was hit again by a young driver and repaired again. Guess what? My renewal rates went down!
I recently bought insurance in a new state. I was not found at fault for the accidents and did not have to pay higher rates with the new company. In fact, I'm paying less. I have a clean driving record. (Of course, I attribute this miracle to God answering my prayers!)
I have lost my vehicle registration papers in california?
As already said , (THIS IS A UK QUESTION) - there IS a fund specifically for paying out when this sort of scum hits an insured driver. If you were injured - and the police WERE involved then start a civil action against them - or try one of those 'accident helplines'. If sueing for personal injury - the courts also have a fund for paying out when chavvy, unemployed scum injure the public. Is it even their fault, or your fault?
Depends on the state. If your state is a no-fault state, your insurance company pays.
Can i leave my middle name out of my drivers license?
If it's not, sue them for the entire amount to make you whole again.
People shouldn't get away with that sort of thing.
My car number plate is mt04 when do i need a mot?
If you carry uninsured motorist coverage on your own policy, they will settle your injury claim and then seek reimbursement from the at-fault party. If you don't have uninsured motorist coverage, your best option would be small claims court.UNINSURED MOTORISTS coverage is what you're looking for. This coverage in your policy is designed to protect you against what you're going through.
It is optional coverage, but can't help you now unless you have it in your contract already.

What should I do about the Road Test?
OK. i dont know where two of those posters lived at... or if they live in their own fantasy world... but U.S. insurance companies dont just have a "magical fund" for when you get hit by an uninsured driver. That sounds like something that someone would call into my company about and insist there was and scream at me when i told them it didnt exist.I got into an car accident recently and no insurance companies were involved does it go on record?
What you might possibly have (if you elected to carry it) is uninsured motorist coverage. This covers your injuries and acts like the bodily injury portion of the claim IF they had insurance.
Do you get penalized for not turning in your license plates after cancelling your insurance?
If you did not elect to have this coverage your only means of compensation is to go after the other driver directly. As they probably dont have much money (carrying no insurance and all) you will likely never see a penny from them. But worth trying i suppose..
